A veces no tienen familia; otras, sus familiares viven lejos, son mayores, trabajan o simplemente no pueden estar presentes tanto como quisieran.<\/p>\n<p data-start=\"739\" data-end=\"945\">Cuando el hospital detecta una situaci\u00f3n de soledad y considera que una persona puede beneficiarse de compa\u00f1\u00eda, <strong data-start=\"851\" data-end=\"880\">contacta con Stabat Mater<\/strong> a trav\u00e9s del circuito de coordinaci\u00f3n establecido con el centro.\u00a0A partir de ah\u00ed, y seg\u00fan la disponibilidad de nuestros voluntarios, organizamos una visita de acompa\u00f1amiento.<\/p>\n<h3 data-section-id=\"19q7fxe\" data-start=\"1058\" data-end=\"1094\">\u00bfQu\u00e9 hacemos durante una visita?<\/h3>\n<p data-start=\"1096\" data-end=\"1158\">Ofrecemos algo muy sencillo: <strong data-start=\"1125\" data-end=\"1157\">tiempo, presencia y compa\u00f1\u00eda<\/strong>.\u00a0Nos sentamos a su lado, conversamos si quiere hablar, escuchamos si necesita contar algo&#8230; Podemos leer, compartir un rato mientras espera una prueba o un tratamiento, o simplemente permanecer en silencio.\u00a0<strong data-start=\"1366\" data-end=\"1399\">Cada persona marca el camino.<\/strong> No llegamos con una actividad que realizar ni con un objetivo que cumplir. <strong>Llegamos para estar.<\/strong><\/p>\n<p data-start=\"1497\" data-end=\"1616\">Nuestra labor no sustituye a la familia ni a los profesionales sanitarios y no incluye ning\u00fan tipo de atenci\u00f3n cl\u00ednica.\u00a0<strong data-start=\"1618\" data-end=\"1671\">El voluntario acompa\u00f1a. Los profesionales cuidan.<\/strong><\/p>\n<p data-start=\"1673\" data-end=\"1911\">Como asociaci\u00f3n cristiana cat\u00f3lica, nuestra manera de acompa\u00f1ar nace de una mirada que reconoce en cada persona una dignidad \u00fanica, a un hijo amado de Dio. Por eso, acompa\u00f1amos a todas las personas con el mismo respeto, cualquiera que sea su situaci\u00f3n o sus creencias.
